KL Services was founded in 1991, and it's main function is the embossing, printing and processing of plastic cards at its secure premises at Cowes on the Isle of Wight. Despite being an island, the Isle of Wight has enviable communications with the mainland, allowing the important aspects of the business (data communications and transport) to be carried out as if it were based on the mainland.

Keith and Laurence and their staff have spent a lot of time and effort in building the company into an efficient organisation with most operations controlled from a central computer network for consistent quality of processing. In the bureau department the 15 embossing machines, 20+ thermal image printers, hot transfer machines and the inkjet printers are all connected to the network. This methodology allows rigid control of the allocation of resources ensuring optimum speed of delivery.

KL has proved popular with it's customers, and a lot of it's work is repeat orders.
